We Need Your Help!
Making It To The Finish Line a 501c3 non-profit organization has been serving the Detroit community through our programs and services for the past ten years. With so many jobs lost, homes lost, and public school programs and services cut our youth and community depend largely on non-profits to provide what they are lacking. However, we are facing a serious challenge today that means we will not be able to continue any programs or services or operate at all. The city of Hamtramck, MI where our new headquarters are located has shut us down because they just decided that we need an automatic sprinkler system in our lower hall. This system costs $40,000-$50,000 to install. We do not want to lose any more of our youth to the streets because we cannot provide an outlet for them to participate in extra-curricular activities.
To that end, MITTFL is conducting a $1.00 fundraiser e-mail-a-thon. Our goal is to reach 50,000 people who will give $1.00 each (more if you desire) to fund the cost of this sprinkler system. With a domino effect, this goal can be reached. For example MITTFL sends out to 600 e-mail individuals and each gives $1.00=$600. Each of our e-mail base send to their base of 50 each and they each give $1.00=600x$1.00=$30,000. Each of those 50 send to their e-mail base which results in 30,000x50=$1,500,000. So with this snowball effect it is possible to raise these much needed funds if everyone follows through and donates $1.00.
