Seventh Annual Tools For School Drive
Drive Will Begin Thursday, July 1, 2010
End on Friday, August 13, 2010
We need donations of
-Bookbags (New)
-Notebooks
-Pocket folders
-Pencils
-Loose-leaf Paper
-Ink Pens, etc.
Supplies will be distributed Saturday, August 28, 2010
10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon or until all tools have been distributed.
Children must be with parents

Making It To The Finish Line is seeking assistance from you and our area businesses to help kids with tools for school. We realize that our city has been hit hard by unemployment. Many parents are participating in new skills training, but in the meantime, their children are doing without. The school district is struggling financially.
Making It To The Finish Line wants to make sure no kid is without tools for school that they will need for the opening of the 2010-2011 school year. Your donation of the above supplies will help one child. Our goal this year is to give 300 kids tools for school. Your donation is tax deductible to the full extent of the law. All donations can be dropped off at 1959 E. Jefferson, Ste. 101, Detroit, MI (next door to Hertz-Renta-Car) Monday-Thursday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Please help to put a smile on some child’s face that could possibly be without the tools they will need for school.
